The Doctor's Review of Asagiri no Miko
Music [7/10]: I really like the opening theme of this anime. It had a kick though, so if you accidently left the volume on too loud, you would have to peel yourself off of the ceiling. The ending theme I wasn't too crazy with, but it wasn't bad.
Plot [7/10]: At first I thought this was going to be another girl chasing after a guy anime, it does have a bit of that, but alot of other things happen too. Demons keep showing up that these temple girls have to defeat! It has alot of action and humor.
Characters [9/10]: Most of the characters in this show were pretty well developed. You grew to like them even if you didn't care for them in the beginning. Even the bad guys, in the end, you felt bad for. My fav was Koma, she and her love of cake.
Animation [9/10]: The animation style looked a bit 'old school' compared to what I have seen in other animes. Thats not a bad thing, it was just unexpected. Watch for pocky!
Likability [6/10]: I did like this anime, but I doubt that I would watch it again. It had some good battles, some nice characters but it also had a bad ending and one really lame villian. Worth a watching.

X's Review
of Asagiri no Miko
Music [ 9/10]: The Opening and Ending were really catchy in this series. I wasn't sure about them at first but I soon grew to love them. The background music didn't subtract from what was going on in the series and I can remember places where it was a terrific asset. I'd probably only listen to the opening, ending, and one background song outside of the series but I thought it worked fine for the series.
Plot [8/10]: I personally love that this series involves Shinto. The plot is allowed to unfold gradually instead of being rushed into. There were some apects of that seemed dicey in the ending. Finding an anime with a great ending is like trying to find a needle in a haystack though so I didn't subtract much for that.
Characters [10/10]: I grew to love most of the characters in this series. There isn't one character I truly despised. The only drawback was the villians weren't strong enough. You got a good chance to learn about the characters and in turn care about what happened to them. I liked how the characters all had their own little quirks. Chika with her camera, Izumi with her supernatural obsession. My favorite characters were Koma, Seiko, Yuzu, and Tama.
Animation [9/10]: I can't complain too much about the animation. For the most part it conveys the story nicely and there aren't any tremendous flaws.
Likability [9/10]: I really liked this series but not the ending. I'll admit that there were times when the speed of the anime seemed to lag a tick too much when the Twilight Miko arrived as well. Despite it's flaws I'd still rate it as a low A.
