The Doctor's Review of Inu Yasha 2nd Movie
Music [10/10]: As always with Inu Yasha, it had really good music. The backgrounds were timely and they fit well with the action occuring on the screen.
Plot [4/10]: The plot would have been good. Naraku is 'killed' and this powerful demon who lives in a mirror appears. She appartly had been hiding from Naraku in order to excape being absorbed by him. Or something like that! But Naraku faked his death just to get that demon women to drop her guard and show herself. The final battle lasted all of two seconds and Naraku was defeated FAR too easily. It was a major let down.
Characters [8/10]: I didn't like any of the new characters and the main villain was, to me, really laughable. She did not seem all powerful at all. But, it did have my old favorite characters again. Besides Kagura was pretty cute... I still wonder if she died or not though. o.O"
Animation [9/10]: Again the animation style of the characters was too angular for my tastes but the backgrounds were amazing. They look like they took a long time to put together and I was impressed by that.
Likability [2/10]: I am afraid I really hated this movie and I see no reason to ever watch it again. It was the worst Inu Yasha movie of the lot. The main villian sucked, Naraku didn't even try to win, and the Kagome/Inu Yasha pinning over each other thing should have been left in the first movie.

X's Review
of Inu Yasha 2nd Movie
Music [ 10/10]: Still no complaints on the music. I think the music had the best transition between series to movie out of all the categories.
Plot [7/10]: I thought the plot showed some potential. It was especially interesting once Kagura was playing errand girl for Kaguya. I was eager to learn what the purpose of these missions was but that's as interesting as it ever got. Toward the end the movie felt rushed and I hated the Kagome and Inu Yasha kiss. It was so forced, unromantic, and completely out-of-place. Plus Naraku was such a weakling in this movie you wondered why Inuyasha and the others hadn't finished him off in the series yet.
Characters [9/10]: As bad as the movie was I still found the characters likable.
Animation [5/10]: I'm still not digging the angular take on drawing the characters. It just doesn't fir with the series.
Likability [3/10]: I can't say I'd watch this movie again. If they had just taken more time on the ending and less on some of the build up where it was an agonizingly long time before anyone did anything it could have been a good movie. I did like the plot a little more that the 1st Inuyasha movie but I liked the overall movie less than the 1st.
